Ottawa House Museum History
The Museum is on the site of the former village of Partridge Island which dates back to the 1770s. The tidal power development project is just around the corner at Cape Sharp. Cape Blomedin (in the past it was Blow-Me-Down) can be seen through the mist across the Bay. Inside, you’ll find hundreds of artifacts depicting life, culture and industry over more than 200 years. Ottawa House Museum brings so much exciting and wonderful history to life.
